Clinical Approaches to Small Baby Care and Lactation Management

This online seminar is designed to enhance the clinical knowledge and skills of Nurses and Midwives in the specialized care of small or preterm infants, with a strong focus on effective lactation management. As neonatal outcomes continue to improve through evidence-based interventions, this program emphasizes the importance of a holistic, developmentally supportive approach to caring for small babies in both facility-based and community settings. Participants will explore best practices in thermoregulation, feeding support, neurodevelopmental care, and early bonding, along with practical strategies for supporting breastfeeding and human milk feeding in vulnerable infants.
